PM33 MCP Server - Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 2, 2026 | Last Updated: March 2, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the PM33 MCP Server ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The MCP Server is part of the PM33 platform and access is governed by your PM33 subscription agreement.
2. Service Description
The PM33 MCP Server provides 9 product management tools and 5 resources accessible via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Tools include backlog optimization, portfolio scheduling, delivery forecasting, velocity analysis, scenario simulation, competitive intelligence, strategic alignment scoring, PRD generation, and backlog querying.
3. Authentication and API Keys
- Access requires a valid PM33 API key with the
mcp:enabled scope.
- You are responsible for securing your API keys. Do not share keys or embed them in client-side code.
- Compromised keys should be revoked immediately via the PM33 Settings page.
- Each API key grants access only to the scopes assigned at creation time.
4. Rate Limits and Fair Use
- Per-Key Limit: 60 requests per minute per API key.
- Per-Tenant Limit: 300 requests per minute across all keys in a tenant.
- AI Tool Limits: AI-powered tools (PRD generation, alignment scoring) are subject to daily credit ceilings and concurrency caps (max 2 concurrent PRD generations per tenant).
- Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Repeated violations may result in temporary key suspension.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Tools that use AI models (pm33_generate_prd, pm33_score_alignment) produce outputs generated by third-party language models. PM33 provides these outputs on an "as-is" basis:
- AI-generated PRDs, alignment scores, and recommendations are suggestions, not guaranteed-accurate professional advice.
- You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use.
- PM33 does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI outputs.
6. Data and Tenant Isolation
- All MCP operations are scoped to your tenant. You cannot access another tenant's data.
- Workspace-scoped tools validate that your API key's user has access to the requested workspace.
- Data processed through MCP tools is subject to the PM33 Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Attempt to bypass authentication, scope restrictions, or rate limits.
- Use the MCP Server to process data belonging to other tenants.
- Submit malicious inputs designed to exploit AI models (prompt injection).
- Resell or redistribute MCP Server access without authorization.
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract data beyond normal usage patterns.
8. Service Availability
PM33 strives to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The MCP Server may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or infrastructure issues. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PM33 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the MCP Server, including but not limited to damages from AI-generated content, service interruptions, or data loss.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the MCP Server after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
